Welcome to JDM Jewellery Designs by Mikki, where the beauty of natural stones meets the artistry of handmade silverwork.

I’m Michele Bonutti aka Mikki, a self-taught silversmith and lapidary artist based in Harrowsmith, Ontario. Inspired by the natural beauty and individuality of gemstones, I love transforming stones into one-of-a-kind jewellery pieces that celebrate their unique colours, patterns, and character.

Every piece I create is designed and handcrafted by me, from selecting and shaping the stone to creating the silver setting. As both a lapidary artist and silversmith, I enjoy being involved in every step of the creative process and each of my designs is truly one of a kind and is hallmarked with my JDM signature.

For me, creating jewellery is about more than making something beautiful—it’s about connecting with the natural world, discovering the story within each stone, and creating something meaningful that can be enjoyed for years to come.

I’m also passionate about sharing the skills and knowledge I’ve developed along my journey. Through volunteer teaching, I enjoy helping others discover the creativity and satisfaction that comes from working with stones and metal. There’s something special about seeing someone create their first piece and realizing, “I made this!”
